Black Mamba: lineage, aroma and reported effects

Black Mamba is a dark, grape-leaning indica with a reputation for heavy evening effects. We are not carrying it at the moment, so this is a guide rather than a product page.

What Black Mamba is

Black Mamba is an indica known for deeply coloured flower — the dark purple tones are where the name comes from — and a grape-forward sweetness over an earthy base.

Its parentage is reported rather than documented. The account you will see most often gives it as a cross of Granddaddy Purple and Black Domina, which would fit both the colouring and the heaviness. We present that as the common version rather than as fact, because no breeder record settles it and different sources tell it differently.

It is worth knowing that the name is reused elsewhere. “Black Mamba” has also been applied to unrelated synthetic cannabinoid products sold illegally, which are not cannabis and have nothing to do with the cultivar described here. If you have seen the name in that context, they are entirely different things.

Aroma and flavour

Dark grape and berry sweetness lead, with earth and a light spice underneath and a faint pine edge. It reads closer to the Purple Punch and grape end of the spectrum than to the gas or dessert families.

What people report

Accounts consistently describe Black Mamba as heavy and physical, the sort of strain people reach for late rather than early. As with any indica-classified cultivar, that is a tendency rather than a guarantee, and the label tells you less than the terpene profile of the specific batch would.

Reported effects vary a great deal between people, between batches and between growers. Nothing here is medical advice, and cannabis affects everyone differently — start low if a strain is new to you.

Black Mamba FAQ

Does Nuna Harvest have Black Mamba?

Not at the moment. Our flower menu rotates weekly, so the live menu is worth a look — but we would rather say so plainly than have you come in on a guess.

Is Black Mamba indica or sativa?

It is commonly classified as an indica and described as heavy and physical. As always, that is a tendency rather than a promise.

What is Black Mamba crossed with?

The account you will see most often is Granddaddy Purple crossed with Black Domina, which fits the dark colouring and the weight. No breeder record settles it, so we report it as the common version rather than as fact.

Is Black Mamba the same as the synthetic product with that name?

No. The name has also been used for unrelated synthetic cannabinoid products sold illegally. Those are not cannabis and are not what this guide describes. Everything we sell is lab-tested cannabis from licensed New York growers.

What does Black Mamba smell like?

Dark grape and berry sweetness over earth, with a light spice and a faint pine edge.
