Biscotti: lineage, aroma and reported effects

Biscotti is the strain that sits behind a lot of the modern dessert menu — including Permanent Marker, which descends from it. We carry it as flower from Connected.

What Biscotti is

Biscotti is a cross of Gelato #25 and South Florida OG. The Gelato side supplies the sweet, baked, cookie-dough character; the OG side supplies the gas and the earthy weight underneath it.

Our menu lists it as an indica-hybrid, which is how it is usually classified. It reads heavier than most Gelato descendants, which is generally put down to the OG in its parentage.

What people report

People commonly describe Biscotti as relaxed and physically settled, with more weight to it than the sweeter Gelato crosses. It is usually an evening pick.

Reported effects vary a great deal between people, between batches and between growers. Nothing here is medical advice, and cannabis affects everyone differently — start low if a strain is new to you.

How we usually stock it

We carry Biscotti as 3.5g flower from Connected. Availability rotates, so check the live menu for what is on the shelf tonight.

Gelato #25 crossed with South Florida OG.

What does Biscotti smell like?

Yes. Permanent Marker descends from Biscotti Mintz, which comes out of the Biscotti line — which is part of why the two share that sweet-and-gassy character, though Permanent Marker is far sharper on the nose.
