Cannabinoids are synthesized by Cannabigerolic Acid. CBG is the decarboxylated form of this acid that appears at low levels in most cannabis plants. Phellandrene is a naturally occurring terpene that is commonly found in various plants, including eucalyptus, ginger, and lavender. 

There are two isomers of phellandrene: alpha-phellandrene and beta-phellandrene. The alpha isomer has a fresh, minty, and slightly citrusy aroma, while the beta isomer has a slightly woody, spicy, and camphoraceous scent. Both isomers are colorless liquids with a characteristic minty taste.
